Message: My son had to try on six pair of shoes before he found a comfortable shoe for his size 15 / 5e foot. Bert, the owner, was more than patient with him. The customer service we received reminded me of the type of shoe stores my mother used to take me to back in the 60s. The type where a person actually came from behind a desk to measure your feet, and assist you finding a properly fitted piece of footwear. I hope this shoe store will be around for many years to come or passed down to another generation of people that provide the same quality of service to their customers. It was worth the hour drive to get the store. Thanks Bert!

Message: Bert was very knowledgeable selling shoes to me, very nice. He took his time to find the right shoes. The Dansco Ahletic tie lace lavender, purple and black is a nice looking shoe and seems to be comfortable. I am just breaking them in walking around my house with them.

He has been to 3 medical doctors and tried various medications and treatments, no resolve. Burt spent 3 hours with him; measuring, trying different types of shoes, made shoe inserts, while we waited. My husband had instant relief. He purchased 3 pairs of shoes.

Message: I would give this store 12 stars if I could. Well, '12 extra wide' stars if I could. Huh? Huh? -like a shoe size? -but seriously- This place is very professional. I've thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail. I've hiked several of the Caminos in Spain. -and Doctor Burt was able to repair the damage that I had caused myself with these adventures.. and he was able to take away the pain. I can't recommend him enough.
