Message: I am prior service United States Army. I brought my new pinks and greens to Larry. After I had taken them somewhere else, and they were not correct I spoke with Larry personally, and he was able to make them correct again. Larry was also closed on Monday, but took the time out of his day off in order to have my uniform ready for me to attend graduation of a person I know. I looked at the uniform, and it was correct to a T. Larry is great. He is a nice man he will work with you. His prices are great and you can’t go wrong with this man Larry, you are a lifesaver and I would like to. Thank you.

Message: Love this man! He help us in a pinch on a wedding day with pant alterations. Long story short, we didn’t get the pants until the night before and he was able to fit us in quickly. Couldn’t have done it without him! Thank you, sir!

Message: Larry is such a nice man! I was in the midst of searching for somewhere local to do minor alterations on a sequined dress and 2 piece outfit. I walked in and he was able to help and have them both done in a few days. We had trouble fixing the top on my dress because the material was so heavy and the top closing. When I tried it on after he altered the dress it still was a bit off. Larry took time to explain several ways he could fix it. He had it for a few more days and when I came back it was perfect! He didn't even charge me for the second alteration he did to fix the top because the first one didnt work. He absolutely wants to make sure your happy with the finished product. Message: Shout out to Larry's Tailor Shop in downtown Wendell. I recently had some pants hemmed and a button replaced on my husband's shirt. Mr. Larry was dressed to the nines, was incredibly professional and did amazing work. His shop is in a historic bank building and is so charming! I am proud to support this extremely professional black-owned small business in our area. #shoplocal.

Message: Being a major procrastinator, I waited until two weeks before a wedding to get my bridesmaids dress altered. The straps kept falling down, and it was too big. I went into Larry's asking if he could help me. He had the alterations complete in a week. In addition, the fitting only took 15 minutes. I have spent over an hour getting fitted in a dress that needed very few alterations, but this experience wasn't nearly as painful. To top it off, the dress now fits perfectly! He was kind and professional, and I will gladly return for any future alterations needed.

Message: I'll never use another tailor again. I live in Raleigh and work in Cary, so the location is a bit of a hike for me. Regardless, this place has more than earned my business. The eponymous Larry is a gentleman in every sense of the word: polite, well-spoken and impeccably dressed. Not only was the tux fitted perfectly and quickly, he even met me before open to accommodate my schedule. I owe this establishment a debt of gratitude for helping my brother's wedding go off without a hitch. If you need it done right and on time, Larry is your man.
